Executive Summary

I design and build software systems that enable organisations to deliver technology at scale — spanning software architecture, platform engineering, artificial intelligence, developer experience and product strategy, with an emphasis on systems that remain understandable, maintainable and operationally resilient as they grow.

Across startups, enterprise and founder-led ventures I've taken products from concept through architecture, implementation, production and commercial delivery. I move fluidly between strategic architecture and hands-on implementation — leading engineers, working with founders and executive stakeholders, and translating business goals into technical strategy.

Today my primary focus is Engineering Intelligence: applying AI, knowledge systems and architecture-first thinking to improve how engineering organisations understand, design, build and operate software.

Architecture Before Implementation

Technology changes rapidly. Architectural thinking endures. Every engineering decision should be deliberate, evidence-based and explainable.

Systems Thinking

Software is a collection of interconnected systems. Understanding the relationships between domain, code, data and operations produces better long-term decisions.

Context Creates Better Software

Code without context becomes technical debt. The best organisations preserve both the implementation and the reasoning behind it.

Developer Experience Matters

Productivity is a function of internal systems. Improving tooling, platform and workflows compounds far beyond raw delivery velocity.
